Fixing the swamp cooler
Last year when we moved in fall had started and soon after snow fell.
I know that my camera could not really capture the amount of crud and junk.
I also know that they (previous owners) never ever cleaned it.
Four years of crud now need to be cleaned.
Our swamp cooler needs, new pump, new float, new pipe, new motor and a very long strong cleaning.
For those that don't live in a dry climate
a swamp cooler is a poor mans air conditioner.
It cycles cold air into the house and can lower the temperature inside by 20 degrees.
I can't wait until I am done getting rid of the errors and laziness of the former owners!

Wishing you all the best of luck getting things back up to norm... it is unfortunate when we inherit the short comings of others. We have been in our country home just over 3 years and the lack of maintenance throughout the property (13 plus acres) has truly been a labour of love on my Hubby's part. xo HHL
Thanks HHL! I love my home but wish that the people who owned if previously had not treated it like a rental!
